Greasy Skin

In the morning, after washing, use astringent lotion again in the same way. A greasy skin

needs to be washed frequently and the make-up renewed at least twice a day. If washing with

soap and water is inconvenient, however, cleanse with a cleansing lotion or milk designed to

have a sloghtly bracing effect on the skin.

Some Simple Tips for Dry Skin

In the morning, wash with soap and water, or use a cleansing milk if your skin

is particularly dry. Next, tone by pating with cottonwool wrung out in cold water and sprinkled

with a few drops of a mild skin tonic or freshener. For quick cleansing during the day use a

cleansing or complexion milk on cottonwool.



Be sure that your diet contains suffecient fats, particularly butter and milk, and also

vitamins supplied by fresh fruit, green vegestables and salad.

A Lovely, Soft,and Younger Looking Skin

Looks that last cannot be slipped over the head with a party dress. Real beauty will only be

found by constant attention to our individual needs. The skin especially will respond to the right

treatment over the years. A regular ruotine of beauty care worked out ever-increasing rewards

as time goes by, for a lovely skin is as much a delight to the eye at sixty as it is at seventeen.

WHEN I MET YOU...

Haugthy and short tempered - that's how I'm known amongst friends and

family. I basically just ignored this label, saying that I was never really like

that without provocation.I wouldn't admit that there were times when I did

snap at people for no legitimate reason. My mother even told me so about this once or twice- I

just ignored her too. Well. I will respect their opinions but that's where they're really really wrong.

But as they say, one day, you'll meet your match. I must admit I felt frightened. Little by little,

I learned to smile more often, to be more patient, to be less sensitive. I decided to change for the

better because I didn't want to be caught unawares when He came again. Of course I can't

change all at once, but day by day, bit by bit, I know I can manage.

CHILDLESS, BUT NOT GODLESS

I spoke with Grace, a very very good friend if mine who got married a few months ago at the age of 25. After the initial "chika" ,I asked her if she was pregnant yet. Tears fell as she said, "I'm so afraid I wont get pregnant anymore. I just heard three weeks ago that she's pregnant. Then last saturday, she called me to say she lost her baby!"

I feel the pain she's bearing inside. Many women who get married want to have a child. I was speachless during that time. I just hugged her. But she knew what I wanted to say.

Why does God not grant every wife's prayer for a child? But I think or maybe because God knows that women's (and men's too!) need to give and recieve love will not be assuaged by having children. Oh, yes, a child is a gift. Oh,yes, it's wonderful to have one. But all in all, only having God completes you.

I'm not worried about my friend, Grace. She's a strong ,courageous and very dynamic woman. And besides,her love for God goes beyond just wanting to have an answered prayer. Go girl I know you can do it. Be happy always.

Proudly Trying To Be Humble

I once spent my hours and hours daydreaming of becoming somebody really famous, popular,

powerful,wealthy,and much admired. If I were to describe all of those dreams,you would laugh at

the crazy thoughts that occupy my mind!



I could have used those wasted hours for much better purposes! If someone were to be really

exalted in the eyes of the world, he has much to account for come jugement day.With such

position, did he abuse his power by looking down on other people, using others for sefish reasons,

taking advantage of those who idolize them?



I am not saying that all famous are evil.(In fact, I have the highest admiration for multi-awarded

achievers who remain humble and simple despite their popularity.) The point I am driving at is

that the temptation to be proud and nuaghty and self-centereds is so much stronger when

yuo're up there than when you're sombody of much lower status according to the world's

standards.



I now aim to be "HOLLY unknown"

Have you ever been in love? if the guy (or gal) loves you back, it's geat. If the he or she doesn't...ouch. Well, just think of this. God isn't just some ordinary guy who gets sick or has pimples or flunks math. He's our our great, wonderful, fantastic, super- duper creator! The Maker of all living things. He's awesome and totally out of this world. And He's in with you. What could possibly be greater than that? "For God so love d the world that He gave His only Son ..." Then ther's the forgiveness He continue to grant you. What about when he heals you? Or when He doesn't charge you anything for the air you breath?And how about those little blessings like friends and family? Or small signals like getting a ride in a flash or stoping the rain when you pray? The list goes on...
I f you still remember the first5 time ever that you realized that God loves you.I'm sure you didn't mourn and grieve. I bet you jumped up and down and screamed out hallelujahs.
